We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools to perform accounting and administrative functions
  • Proficient in spreadsheet development for analysis and communication

Detail and deadline-oriented * Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner to meet established deadlines
  • Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports, including statement of activities, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue projections, and charter management activities
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Verify and record details of financial transactions in appropriate journals
  • Review all check runs for 1099 vendors and issue 1099s to vendors at year-end
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements and work with bank officials to resolve discrepancies in account records. Stop payments on outdated, lost or voided checks as needed
  • Transfer funds between accounts and or funds using proper coding and ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger
  • Reconcile various assets and liabilities accounts on a monthly basis and maintain depreciation schedules
  • Assist and prepare for annual audit by independent CPA.
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
