Job Title: Virtual Systems Support Specialist

Wage/Hour Status: Non-exempt, Part-Time Starting $15.00 – $17.00

Reports to: Director of Virtual Systems and Student Acquisitions

Location: In Office

Dept./School:  Blue-X Virtual

Position Summary:

The Virtual Systems Support Specialist works directly with the Director of Virtual Systems and Student Acquisitions and other departmental personnel to perform position requirements, workflow and assist with other duties as defined. This person is responsible for managing the workflow and productivity of incoming and outgoing calls for the attendance phone line. The aim of the Virtual Systems Support Specialist is to align the outcome of the position’s responsibilities and deliverables with the strategic initiatives of Blue-X Virtual, while promoting the organization’s overall vision, objectives, goals and culture.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:  

  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED 
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (preferred)

Experience

  • 1   Year experience in Customer Experience.
  • 1   Year experience using Google Workspace preferred.
  • 1+ Years experience in technology inventory management preferred.
  • 1+ Years experience with SIS preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage calls, and work with other team members when appropriate
  • Answer calls from families about attendance
  • Assist with student enrollment
  • Perform special projects, and other projects as assigned
  • Maintain attendance records and other records in a Student Information System (SIS)
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of loaner equipment for students
  • All other related duties as assigned.
